Funny faces

Do you ever wonder what other people do on Sunday mornings? We don't have church until 1:30, Yes 1:30! And you thought your time was bad. So we take our time getting ready, we play, and basically cherish our little bit of un-rushed time. Two weeks ago Davi painted our toe nails; yes he does a better job than me - much more detail oriented! Then Xadi wanted her hair in curlers just like Mommy's so we did that too. Her favorite book right now is Pumpkin Time, so she loves pumpkins: Last week she colored a pumpkin with Daddy, and we call her pumpkin sometimes. The other day at the Library she tripped and said, "Pumpkin Down!" I had the hardest time not cracking up. Here is the Little Princess with her pumpkin...
Sweet look! She doesn't really care for toy's, she just wants everything that's yours. (note what's in the stroller - yep, those are pencils)
At the Zoo with the Madsens.
Xadi loves drinking fountains!
My Idol! Hope you had a Wonderful Birthday!!!
Xadi wanted to ride on the "Cow". There's only one problem, it's the Carousel at the zoo! Can anyone please let me know what the "cow" is in relation to wild animals? We were the 1st ones on and the last to get on an animal because she wanted to ride on a cow. Tell me again why it's so important to let them exercise their inner independance? Oh yeah, we hope they will think for themselves one day and not listen to the influence of others.
Long story short we ended up on the penguin. Why? because Erin was in front of us and the ride was about to start. Xadi was sad we weren't on the mysterious cow. She even spotted it while we were in line as it was going around...I have yet to find it!

Busy week

Do you ever have one of those weeks you literally don't have time to breath? Well that was last week for us; so here is the run down. By the way it was one of the happiest weeks of my life! I loved each moment I had to spend with my friends and family. These ones blur the lines of both!

Due West playing at Uncle "Bronco's" dad's ranch on Tuesday. Funny story here: Xadi and I were walking with Bronco's Niece Olivia and she kept saying Uncle Doug (his real name). Finally Xadi said, "no, no, Uncle Bronco." She can even point out where he lives on a map (in Nashville). She has been saying his name ever since, even when you say Doug she says Bronco. I think she has her first crush. I can't blame her, what a rock star!!!
Look at that hair! Oh and who's that hottie in the back ground? Babe you always rock my world! You did great!
Adventures in finger painting, even the dog got some. I was trying to keep her busy while I was working on my friend Celeste's wedding flowers. I was honored to play the part of "Fronk" the wedding planner. Celeste is like a sister to me. She has been through a tough few years and I'm glad to have been blessed with her friendship in my life! She is the best! Her new Hubby Mark is awesome too! I wish them all the happiness in the world!
The slide for the kiddies at the wedding, but I just couldn't resist...Well could you?
Nope I didn't think so! Thanks ladies for all of your help with Celeste's wedding!
Xadi couldn't resist the slide either. She keeps talking about it...and Bronco.

Celeste got her approval to be sealed in the temple on two days before the ceremony and just as I was picking up her flowers. I cried tears of joy!
The beautiful bride and the handsom groom

Finally came Sunday. It was my Grandpa's 80th birthday so we took him breakfast. Davi's Brother Mark and his family were in town from Michigan so they came up and went to church with us. It was fun to have them over to dinner and to play. The kids loved the creek. We tried to get a picture with all of them together. Xadi and Jack were both really tired so that didn't help much in they way of cooperation. This was the best shot; they're all sort of looking at me.

Our niece Abby being the super model, so cute!
Aunt Christie reading the girls a book. We really love all of our friends and family! We feel so blessed to has you in our lives! I mean what would this week have been without you? Just laundry and dishes and other things I don't cherish but I'm now forced to do this week.

Bachelorette Party

My girls night in Park City for Celeste's bachelorette party!
The real Ghosts of Park City, you do know the town is haunted! Right?

Owning my new look! New jammies? check. Facial? check. Mini Pedi? Check. Bed Head? Check.
Making my own super cute flip flops (super good idea on my part if I do say so)? Check. Night out with the girls fun. But here is priceless...
My babe pilfering my new wares! She loved my toes, so we just had to paint hers- Twice!!! Note the sweet outfit? How has Davi managed to dress himself all these years? If any of you see her from the 16th-21st of October just know I'm in NY and have nothing to do with how she is dressed!

Keg Creek

So how hard do you think it would be to take a cute picture of the cutest little girl on earth and her dog in a beautiful summer meadow covered in flowers?

Nice shorts Babe!
Hey Critters look at Grandpa
Ah, tranquility!
My favorite, even without my fury baby.

At least one is looking at the camera

Did I mention she fell asleep on the way. Just long enough to be grumpy! Well I hope you enjoyed our futile attemps at the perfect picture! But alas I'm sure will try again, I know we've had some winners!

catch up

I'm posting catch up's from the summer, these are the ones from my phone. Most of the are from this past week but one is from a concert a month ago. Does anyone else feel they are in a constant state of trying to catch up on their lives? Laundry, housekeeping, phone-calls, yard-work, ect... I could fill this post with my list. But alas here is the reason your here Xadi-tainment
So if one is good, Two has to be better!
I love it when I'm right!
Mommy noticed I love the pool but I hate to get splashed, especially my eyes. So here I am loving life with her goggles!
Ah, the pool so refreshing I see why it's one of Mommy's favorite workouts.
Daddy and I going down the slide before the Lady Antebellum concert. I really think he's obsessed with music. Don't you agree?
