My times have changed from: the 15 years ago when I met Davi, the 13 years ago he got down on one knee, and 11 years ago we were sealed (or as Xadi calls it "skilled" which works too) in the temple. All though those times we were rockin' the indy scene pretty hard- going to shows every weekend, going to Vegas and NY to see some of our fav bands, wearing hip clothes, hanging out with the coolest people like N'spence (thought you'd like that that Spencer) and the Falcon...So now where do you find us? Well for our anniversary we rocked it to a show- Jason Aldean at Energy Solutions. Oh how times have changed! We'd never think of going to an arena show- the Beastie Boys at Salt Air was about as big as it got- well except for Neil and Kiss- but that was a rare exception. Last night with duckets and sitter we spent $100(at least it's tax deductible- yea we never would have thought of that either)! If a show was $15 we'd wonder if it was worth it! The final irony it was (now this is painful for me to admit people-) it was country! (Another time I'll have to write another post of how Davi got into country, it's a pretty good story.) We saw the Falcon there- he was working- I think he about passed out when he saw us! We went from him rocking our weekends face to face without a care in the world to sitting in an arena with thousands of screaming fans thinking of our cute kiddies in bed at home!
Oh Babe my have times changed! I'm glad they have changed with you! Thank you for pursuing me and knowing I was the one! I love you more and more as every year goes by!
