Charlie is ...

4 Months
I can roll over. I love my toes and my Sissy!

She makes me laugh

5 Months
I'm good at sitting up. I love to cuddle up and flirt- I know I'm the perfect little man.
6 Months
(I learned my lesson over these 2 months (5 and 6) if you wait until they are over there cold you may never get the picture you want! Just wipe their nose really well and keep a tissue and a wet wash cloth close by!)
Yummy solid foods! Don't worry it's all good mommy makes it special for me with lots of love! I like to feed my self- Mom can feed Sis!
7 Months
Seriously can I get any cuter? I'm good at scooting around to get what I need!

I love story time with Sis!
I say Maumau and Dauda
8 Months

I scream when I get really excited or feel ignored!
I've got the army and the backward crawl down- you just wait I'll start to go forward any day now then you'll be in trouble!
I finally figured out how to sit up on my own! I'm working on pulling myself up on to things so I can get into real trouble!

Adventures of Sisterhood (or babysitting, whichever term you prefer)

My idea of a fun Saturday night include dancing to musical caterpillars, riding very tiny tricycles, and reading colorful picture books with deep morals such as "Go to bed on time." And of course, Xadi is super duper cute, smart and funny. (Let's not forget Little Man, he's pretty darn cute as well!) Anyways, a few weeks ago Xadi was making me laugh so much I ran to get a sheet of paper and wrote down her Words of Wisdom as fast as my stray Superman Pencil could dance across that paper. And since sharing is caring I supposed I should share them with you! SO I just dug them out miraculously from a large drawer of random school papers and other things I don't want to throw away. (Or I'm just too lazy.) Feast your eyes upon THIS:

  •   I was cutting up something with a knife and Xadi, sitting on at the counter, commends me "Be careful, don't cut yourself, you can't use our band-aids!"
  •   I always say "One sec" whenever I am busy, so for the rest of the night Xadi said it with everything like an overplayed song on the radio. She would walk around saying "one sec" to everything, and if I asked her to do me a favor... one sec!
  • Xadi: "Are you a good painter?" Me: "Probably not as good as your mommy!" Xadi: "Probably not as good as ME!" (giggles)
  • Xadi presents me with the rules clearly: "I'm the mommy so I wear makeup. I can hear you. With my EARS!"
  • THE GRAND FINALE (warning: may contain too much info): I was going potty which I told Xadi. She yells to me through the door, "Don't worry I'm coming to wipe!" but I say "No, don't come in please!" and she ponders for a moment before figuring it out. "Oh! Cuz you need some privaces, huh?" And when I was done and came out, she had on sunglasses and was telling the furniture, "Don't go in THERE, Amy is going potty, okay?"
Well I think that about sums up the meaning of my life, so y'all can stop reading now and sorry this was so long and colorful!

Love from Amy!!!

My Beautiful Little Three Year Old

I say beautiful because she is inside and out! I am so blessed that God granted me the privlidge to be her mother. Some of my favorite things that she says are; "oh, hunny it's okay!" " Oh Mama you don't need to cry." When she falls or gets sick and I look sad. She is so kind and compassionate it amazes me! When we went to see the lights at temple square we are looking at the statue of Christ and she said,  "He has owies- that is so sad! I want him to hold me!"
I can't believe how smart she is and the things she remembers. She remembers the outside of Wal-mart on 13th south as the place we got her flower binkies almost 2 years ago! She remembers scripture stories just by showing her pictures. You can forget about rushing through a book and summarizing the story- She'll call you on it! She knows what car all of you drive and the color- she points them out wherever we go! Nana and Caroline have the same car only Nana's is a newer body style and she knows the difference. She talk's to you all on her phone all day- so if you feel lonely you can call her!
Her co-birthday party with her "soul sister in Zion" Amy. They share the same birthday and many of the same friends despite them being 12 years apart. So we decided they needed to celebrate together! (watch for some "adventures in babysitting" posts from Amy- She is hilarious! She'll have you in stitches!)
Her friend party the night before- Can you ever celebrate your birthday too much?
Roller Skates (yes the quads) so she can follow in mommy's foot steps!

So helpful! I said I'm going to run down stairs to get my camera and then I have to change Charlie's diaper so we can take pictures- she helped the process! LOVE MY GIRL!!!
