Thanksgiving

No, you'll find no food pictures here! For me that is the least important part of thanksgiving. Maybe it's that we don't eat Turkey so that takes away a large part of it. But for me it's all about family which is one of the things I'm most thankful for. Every other year we go up to the Taylor cabin, this was that year. I love it despite the sickness that always comes with it! This year it was the stomach flu that we  brought! Sorry! I debated not going but Dave over ruled that. but because of that we didn't get any pictures of our family- someone was always sick. So the mommy was super tired! I felt nauseous for 3 days before it finally hit in full effect! I did manage to get a couple of days in skiing. One just some Mommy Truey time which I think he loved! I need a back pack to carry him after he hits the wall! He only has about a mile in him when he is barreling through snow deeper than him! It's really hard to ski up hill holding poles in one arm and a 15 Lb snowball in the other! It's so beautiful up there, Enjoy!

Dave thought he could pass some trucks, that were going slow on the way to get our Christmas tree. He was wrong and we slid off the road! Our 4-runner is so bad in the snow (The Jetta with studs is better-sad!) that we had to get pulled out by Marks mini-van! SAD!

You can't really tell but here is our slide off...

Molten Lava Madness

This is my go to chocolate recipe because I can have it done and delivered in 20 minutes! And I can half it or double it really easily so I never have to have any leftovers! Many have wanted it now you can make it yourself and you don't have to fight over who I love more! I love you all! Here's proof!

It's Dave's favorite too! Can you see the droll?

¾ cup Semi Sweet Chocolate chips
½ cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
3 whole eggs
6 Tbsp. flour

HEAT oven to 425°F.
BUTTER 4 small custard cups; place on baking sheet.
MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until butter is melted; whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar. Add whole eggs; mix well. Stir in flour. Spoon into prepared cups.
BAKE 13 to 14 min. or until sides of desserts are firm but centers are still soft. Let stand 1 min. Carefully run small spatula or knife around cakes to loosen; invert into dessert plates.

The little stuff... October

One fish... two fish... Green fish....
Charlie fed the fish....

Clean Fish...after 3 hours! I had nothing better to do!

Sweet dreams Little Ones
They love each other what can I say! But why do we have another bed?

"Charlie get buckeled."

Close, But I'm not quite ready for you to drive.

Happy Birthday Dave!

How about a cruise? Wait I'm broke! It will have to be a scary one of the Provo river- W'ell have pirates though! Next year I'd love to do this again when it's a little warmer.

We're Pretty Incredible!

We decided to dress up as the Incredibles this year for Halloween. The only question is how we top it next year?
 Cute little Violet!

Dave has worked every Halloween since Xadi was born. So I started spending every Halloween with Celeste. We fry doughnuts for her Neighborhood, have dinner together, then trick or treat her street. It's a great time! I'm so blessed to have her to help fill all my solo-mom times!

BTW I finally get why women dress scantily I ran into the store on our way  man the "complements" (I use that word loosely) I received and the stares I got were unbelievable! Good thing I rode so much last summer!

My birthday

This was NOT the petting zoo! Charlie scaled the fence to get to the big sheep...

This is the Man who let him! I just casually walked away from this one.

This is the petting zoo, see how much smaller the animals are? They no longer tower over kids heads. This is where Charlie and Dave spent most of the day.

Xadi/ Rapunzel waiting for her pony ride.
She is a little nervous....

 I trapped her!

Then off for my big girl date, Dinner at the Veggie house with Adam, his date, and Dave. Then to Stake Conference. And finally off to see Jason Alden. Can you guess who what?
