My awesome friend Abby read my blog and realized I could use some help! So she offered to take my kids for an afternoon. Charlie Loved playing outside with Max's trucks. It was amazing what 3 hours of me time can accomplish! I finished up some work for Udder Ointment and realized how hard it actually is to work with your kids around 24/7. I need to give myself a little more credit for my juggleing act! Working 30-40 hours with your kids always there is really hard! Doing it with never having a break is even harder! I'm so grateful for great friends like Abby and Ester who literally saved my sanity in September! I really couldn't have made it through this month without you! Thanks!
Another Sanity saver was training to ride through Yellowstone. I was nervous about my lack of time I had to train. No one was here so I couldn't sneak in my early morning ride anymore, so Charlie and I started taking advantage of Xadi's preschool time. We'd ride MWF afternoon from 12-2:30. With my "100 LB training bike" it was enough training. When I got back on my street bike for the ride I felt like I could fly!
Charlie's favorite thing to do this month! Much to my dismay! I finally turned my desk so I could do my work and keep an constant eye on the little stinker!
My other biking partner Alisa! With her wicked witch of the west cruiser and my 1990 mountain bike with Charlie in tow we were quite the riding team. I tried to convienve her to love it and well she did a great job placating me....
“There was never a child so lovely but his mother was glad to get him to sleep.”
Ride 'em my little buck-a-roo! Love you!
Charlie HATES the rides! Xadi LOVES them!
I think you may need a helmet, binkie, and galoshes to drink one of these things!
