My Beautiful Little Three Year Old

I say beautiful because she is inside and out! I am so blessed that God granted me the privlidge to be her mother. Some of my favorite things that she says are; "oh, hunny it's okay!" " Oh Mama you don't need to cry." When she falls or gets sick and I look sad. She is so kind and compassionate it amazes me! When we went to see the lights at temple square we are looking at the statue of Christ and she said,  "He has owies- that is so sad! I want him to hold me!"
I can't believe how smart she is and the things she remembers. She remembers the outside of Wal-mart on 13th south as the place we got her flower binkies almost 2 years ago! She remembers scripture stories just by showing her pictures. You can forget about rushing through a book and summarizing the story- She'll call you on it! She knows what car all of you drive and the color- she points them out wherever we go! Nana and Caroline have the same car only Nana's is a newer body style and she knows the difference. She talk's to you all on her phone all day- so if you feel lonely you can call her!
Her co-birthday party with her "soul sister in Zion" Amy. They share the same birthday and many of the same friends despite them being 12 years apart. So we decided they needed to celebrate together! (watch for some "adventures in babysitting" posts from Amy- She is hilarious! She'll have you in stitches!)
Her friend party the night before- Can you ever celebrate your birthday too much?
Roller Skates (yes the quads) so she can follow in mommy's foot steps!

So helpful! I said I'm going to run down stairs to get my camera and then I have to change Charlie's diaper so we can take pictures- she helped the process! LOVE MY GIRL!!!

Which Witch?

Every year since I had Xadi Celeste and I have gone to Gardner Village to see the witches. This year the weather tried to stop us so on the day we were going to go we were rained out and went to the aquarium instead...
We weren't de-railed for too long...

Funny story if this lollipop, Xadi saw a girl with one like it and sat down about three feet away from her mezmerized by it she had her mouth open and her tounge out ready to take a lick- I should have taken a picture but in the moment I was too embarresed! So I had to het her one! Oh the Sheer joy of being two!
Can't you just taste it?

Celeste and Charlie Roo! I swear looking back at pictures when he's older he'll think that she was his Mom!
We Found all of the Witches and got our cookie reward!
Note Carefully Xadi is just picking at the M&M's!
We've taken this picture every year! My how they've grown!

Telling secrets!

Halloween Party

Every year we have a themed halloween party this year it was Star Wars.
Best couple costume Spencer and Rachel
Best Costume- Robin You ROCK!!! (I've just got to add here this women is one of my heros! She can not only rock the gold bikini, but she is an awesome mom to two amazing boys- one of whom just got home from his mission, she is an amazing wife who not only brings home the bacon but fries it up in the pan well too! And she is a great friend who is a blast to hang out with! Oh and if that wasn't enough she can hold her own on the motorcycles and jet skis!)
Calvin
Calvin a bit less scary with Kristen
Almost the whole group we're missing a few who left early.
The Girls!
Charlie Roo taking care of Scott- and laughing at Claudia he was enamored by her!
Bill, Katie, and baby Ellie (and George Lucas in the back ground)
Mark and his ostrich, he somehow manages to incorporate this into every Halloween costume I wonder what it's going to morph into next year with the super-heros theme.

Sunday in the Park

It has been such a beautiful fall! I feel so blessed to be able to spend such quality time with my little family in the great outdoors!

Nellie the Elephant...

packed her trunk to say goodbye to the Circus off she went with a
clumpity, clump, clump, clump!
If you've never taken your kid (or yourself for that matter) to the Elephant parade you're missing out! It was so cute and just the right amount of parade for a two year old! The elephants are literally feet away from you. I really hate to say how much I loved this being a Veg and all...I really hope they aren't treated as portrayed by Water for Elephants or PETA. They looked like they enjoyed the attention and they were beautifully groomed.
Xadi had so much fun! I think Davi kinda liked it too! As for Char...
Yup, he slept right thru all of the fun!

Dance, Dance, Dance!

Xadi has had a few little dance recitals this month. What we've discovered is she is a natural born entertainer! Until about two weeks ago it was only her and one other girl in the class so at the first recital only she showed up- so she danced with another class that did a dance she didn't know. Big deal we thought she's only two and a half she'll probably just stand there anyway, No not her, she followed the teacher and did the dance better than some of the four year olds in that class!
Here she is in her chicken costume ready to rock it again! I got video but my internet connection is toooo slow to load it up (okay everyone laugh now we're still hanging with the dinos on dial up!) So any way I just got pictures of her before and walking off!

It was at our Rec center and after they had a Spook-tacular. She had fun playing with her Daddy they went on this creepy canoe ride in the swamps!
When we got home that evening she entertained us more with her new $4 piano from the DI (my yearly trek to find halloween costumes). She would ask us what song we wanted then "played it" for us while she looked at us and sang it. I was impressed!
