Xadi continuing on to more preschool celebration!

1st day of school!
Last day of school!
Cute pre-school friends!

Scales and Tails! This guy is awesome! Even if Xadi and her friend Ella defected early!
Xadi's friend Emily holding the turtle! Xadi had no desire to touch any of the animals but she still talked about the experience non stop for days!
Love my little second year pre-schooler! Love her school even more it is so perfect for her! I cannot believe how much she has learned and grown over this year!

A.B.C.

All 'bout Charlie! I decided to write a post all about my little boy! I usually am writing about Xadi cause well she speaks! (and I find her hilarious!) Though Charlie doesn't talk much a fact that kind of breaks my heart- I just have to remind myself it's a Taylor boy trait and he will be fine. It's still hard not to take it personal like I've done something wrong. But there is a lot to say about this little boy!

He is so loving! When Xadi's friends come over he gives them great big hugs! I think they maybe a little scared of this at first but now most of them look forward to it!
Charlie is also very inquisitive and mechanical. I'm astounded by the things he figures out and does. Like puzzles and Lego's that Xadi may struggle with he has no problem doing!
He loves the animals- maybe too much! Here he is cautiously making friends with the one eyed dog! I was a bit skeptical but my friends assured me it was a nice dog!
See Mom I'm totally right!
My boys! He loves Truman and rides Ashby- the cat! you'd think the cat might care but no he LOVES it! We tell him to get off but the cat just sits and waits for more! Silly Kitty!

Neither of my kids have much fear a thing I wish they had a bit more of when it came to strangers and church! They run free wherever we go! Charlie's lack of fear came in nicely when it came to his first hair cut! He did so good!

Cute hair dresser Kira did amazing! She is so good with kids!
Loves to get into trouble anywhere he can find it! Water- check!
Sand? Check!
Dirt in new Easter clothes? Check and double check!
He loves to ride! He just can't seem to wait for the day he gets to ride on his own!
And he will ride anything! This is him on the neighbors metal decorative dog!
And on a box!
More proof (if the snow pants weren't enough!) that real men wear pink!

I love this little boy so much he is very busy and definitely keeps me on my toes but I wouldn't have it any other way! He bring joy and love to me in my life I'm blessed to have him even on the days he is in to everything! I'm enjoying my journey with him while he is still so sweet and little I wish I could keep him this way! They just grow up way to fast! While I was at a concert at BYU for women's conference Hilliary Weeks talked about her little girl and said, "I'll have all of eternity to know her as an adult but only a few short years to know her as a child." It's so true how fleeting childhood is I try and cherish everyday I have with my sweet Little Ones cause I know one day I'm going to turn around and they will be all grown up! So if you come by my house and it looks like toy land blew up in here it probably did! I wouldn't have it any other way! One day I may have a clean house it just won't be while they're little... I'm enjoying it too much!

My first BFF!

I came in to this world blessed to be next door neighbors with one of the most amazing girls the world has ever known! I came in to this world blessed to have a best friend born 5 months before me. I've always tried to live up to her greatness! I want to introduce you all to my first bff! This is Amy Wise...
(Isn't she beautiful? Sadly I can't find the originals to these but I made a book of my best friends and this was one of the proof sheets. I have the book and the originals somewhere safe- now if I only remembered where that was!)
34 years ago today there came in to this world one of those rare souls who add a spark to this world seldom seen. Since I can remember people have been drawn to Amy. She had always lead the crowd and stood on her own. I felt so cool in grade school cause everyone wanted to be her friend and she was my best friend. She never put her self above anyone and yet she always was.
Amy succeeded at everything she has set her mind to and has control over. As kids I always struggled in school and she the first one done, so she'd come over and help me. She wouldn't leave my side until I got it, sometimes missing recess.
While I learned to ride a bike she learned to ride a motorcycle! She would get off to help me when I'd fall, her bike would die and she'd struggle to get it going again to help me! When we were in fourth grade her family decided to move to California! We were both heartbroken and tried every way we could think of to sabotage the sell of her house. The poor realtor we'd push her scarf down into the cactus every-time she'd come over! Our grand plans failed and we were separated! I was so lonely without her! I loved the letters she sent and I'm sure failed to send half as many back! I still have them to this day!
I was lucky to see her when we went to California! I'm lucky to still have her as a friend! She continues to inspire me! She travels the world and takes the most amazing photographs! She has had a rough year but it didn't knock her down! She got back up and climbed a mountain! Literally she is always climbing them.
So to Amy I hope you had the most wonderful birthday! You continue to make me smile and laugh with your adventures! Thank you for teaching me never to give up, that I can do hard things, and always look on the sunny side of life! I love you! You continue to amaze me! Hope to see you soon when you visit.
